Copepods and phytoplankton sit at the base of the reef food web, feeding coral, filter feeders, and the fish that pick pods off the rockwork all day. A healthy population helps keep nutrients cycling and nuisance algae in check, and it's one of the simplest things you can add to keep a tank running clean. We keep a rotating stock of live pods and phyto in store, kept alive and sold fresh.
